Committee Overview

■Purpose of Establishment
The Standard Specifications for Steel and Composite Structures (Maintenance) were established in 2013 and revised in 2019.
Periodic revisions are necessary to reflect the latest technological developments.

■Objectives
To revise the current 2019 edition of the specifications.

■Activities
・Incorporate the latest information and knowledge and clearly describe the relationship between the main text and supplementary materials.
・Specifically, the following topics will be examined.
▷Review of the maintenance management process
▷Enhancement of emergency inspections and post-disaster assessments
▷Updating and addition of measurement, monitoring, and evaluation technologies
▷Consistency with other specifications, etc.
