Committee Overview
■Purpose of Establishment
The Standard Specifications for Steel and Composite Structures (Seismic Design) were established in 2008, but periodic revisions are necessary to reflect the latest technological developments.
■Objectives
To revise the current 2018 edition of the specifications.
■Activities
・Conduct additional studies on the verification methods and collapse control design methods in the 2018 edition, and enhance the content accordingly.
・Review the contents of the specifications, including the 2008 edition, and present practical analysis examples useful to engineers.
