Subcommittee overview
■ Purpose of Establishment
The revision process for the Standard Specifications for Steel and Composite Structures is being conducted by subcommittees organized for each of the document’s various sections. Consequently, a forum is required to discuss issues that cut across these different sections.
■ Objectives
To share progress updates regarding the revision of each section and to discuss issues requiring review from a cross-sectional perspective.
■ Activities
・Hold steering committee meetings once or twice a year and subcommittee meetings once a year to facilitate information sharing and coordination among the various sections.
■ Future Revision Schedule
〇 General Provisions, Structural Planning, and Design: TBD (Last revised in December 2022)
〇Seismic Design：TBD (Last revised in December 2022)
〇Construction：Scheduled for revision in 2025
